Summary
Two tall pearlware comports. Round dishes with ogee edges, on a flared base. Transfer printed blue magnolia flowers around edge, with blue band around rim. Two protruding lip handles pierced with two holes, on opposite sides of dish. Transfer printed sprays of flowers in centre of dish and around underside. Tranfer printed magnolia flowers around edge of base. Gilt details on printed scenes. Base printed 'NAPIER', 'R', and impressed 'WEDGWOOD PEARL'. 1840-68.
