Summary
A mahogany eight-day longcase clock by Adams of London. The case having applied carved decorations and the door fitted with a plate glass panel. The 2 train 5 pillar movement with deadbeat escapement, Harrison maintaining power, mercury-compensated pendulum suspended from the back board and rack striking on a bell. Seconds dial in dial centre which is signed “Adams, 36 Lombard St, London” Date about 1855.
