Summary
Louis XIV boulle bracket clock standing on a contemporary bracket, the eight day English fusee movement having the pendulum terminating in a 'sun in splendour', the case inlaid in brass in the typical Boulle manner and mounted with moulded ormolu mounts, the whole surmounted by amorini. The case is probably dated as 1720 and the movement made and fitted to ther case around 1880
