Summary
An ash, elm and beech smoker's bow armchair, Thames Valley, circa 1860. With horse-shoe shaped armbow and a gallery of spindle-turned supports, solid elm seat and ring-turned legs joined by twin cross-stretchers, stamped with initials HG to rear of seat; Together with another similar smoker's bow armchair, but with caned seat.
