Summary
Thin wooden display case containing a family tree painted on a Charlecote deer skin. The skin is stretched using strips of leather onto wooden poles. The families of Lucy, Spencer, Lane, Williams, Fairfax, Cameron and Campbell, spring from one trunk and spread out into many branches. Display case has wide base and two removable doors with metal hinges and lock plate that are currently sitting behind the case. Made for Christina Lucy, who inherited Charlecote in 1890 on her father, Spencer Lucy's, death; by Edith Hinchley, a noted genealogist and a friend of the family.
