Summary
A 19th century English, archery cabinet, or 'Ascham Cabinet'. Made from mahogany in a tall, slender form with a panelled door and panelled box base. Drawer with metal ring handle at the top. The main section contains metal tacks for hanging, the bottom section has specific area with holes for bows. Metal hinges and locks on the door. Contains 6 bows, 30 arrows bearing the Lucy crest, two pairs of early 19th century ladies’ gloves and one pair of wrist guards.
