Summary
A side, or writing, table, possibly assembled in England but probably combines East Indian and Italian elements, mid-19th century. An ebony and ebonised wood table, the top of the table is slate bordering an inset grey marble panel. Traces of parcel-gilding to the base of spiral-turned legs and an 'H'-shaped stretcher, the blocks are carved with flowers. The four legs sit on brass castors.
