A mahogany clerk's desk, English, 19th century. The top features brass hinges and a lock. The thin lid opens to reveal a shallow interior that is completely lined with red velvet. The desk features moulded friezes, raised on ball-turned legs joined by a ball-turned 'H'-shaped stretcher. containing the Lucy Pedigree.
