Summary
An oak centre table, on three square supports with the Lucy crosslet, on carved trestle-shaped bases, made to match the table supplied to support the pietre dure top acquired in 1824 (NT 532954). The top of the table is pink marble with curved edges and rim. The marble was supplied by the London firm J Brown and Co in 1836.
Provenance
Presented to the National Trust by Sir Montgomerie Fairfax-Lucy (1896 – 1965), two years after the death of his father, Sir Henry Ramsay-Fairfax, 3rd Bt (1870 – 1944), with Charlecote Park and its chief contents, in 1946.
