Summary
Wooden gate at south side, made from oak and in a Gothic style. This is a single gate with stylised linen fold panels in the bottom section and heavy diagonals, curved chamfers being used to lighten and add further complexity. Iron strap hinges run the full width of the gate. This gate is a replacement based closely on the original, carved into the lower edge of the bottom rail is: P.M. Dean 1.4.74 K.N. Barker.
