Summary
Lid with cone finial for one of a pair, Blue John and ormolu cassolettes and covers, campana-shaped body overlaid with pierced guilloche bands and flutings. Leafy satyr masks, pierced rims and cone finials, mounted bases on 4 Sphinx feet, lower base, mounted with pierced ormolu flowered scrolls and turned chased feet. Probably by Matthew Boulton.
