Summary
Limestone, the Four Seasons, probably British (English) School, probably 1900-39. A set of four emblematic putti representing Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter, carved of limestone, mounted on top of the projecting buttresses on the exterior of the Picture Gallery. The set brought to Anglesey Abbey from Englefield Green, Surrey, the home of Cara Leland Broughton, Lady Fairhaven (1867-1939).

Brought to Anglesey Abbey from Englefield Green, Surrey, the home of Cara Leland Broughton, Lady Fairhaven (1867-1939); bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
