Summary
The glass bowl for a monumental silver-gilt centrepiece with mark of Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard, London, 1818/9. The bowl is of colourless blown glass. The hemi-spherical centre cut with a sunburst, whilst the flared petal-shaped sides are cut with alternating panels of stars within a trellis or diamonds. The wavy rim is cut in a zigzag.
