Summary
Print, coloured aquatint, Windsor Castle from the Black Rod, Berkshire by Paul Sandby, RA (Nottingham 1725 – London 1809). Published by T. Palser 1812, after an original watercolour by Paul Sandby. Pencil note on inside of mount 'The original picture 'work drawing' is in my sitting room at Park Close 1925'. See also an uncoloured impression PR/8, and a watercolour D/81.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
