Summary
A black japanned metal trunk, with a red pattern and with a brass plate on top engraved 'Lord Fairhaven'. A metal lock, two wire clip fastenings, two metal handles to sides. The interior is divided at one end to accommodate a bicorn hat and Lord Lieutenant's robes. Label 'Rogers and Company, 9 New Burlington Street, Savile Row, London'. With a black bicorn hat. Black fur, black embroidered ribbon, black cockade covered by a black velvet and metallic thread band secured by a silver button embossed with a crown and a laurel wreath. A detachable plume of white feathers with red feathers under, in a blue card tube. A white silk lining. Label 'Rogers and Company, Military Acc...
