Summary
Bronze, Two horses at play, possibly British (English) School, c. 1920-60. A bronze group of two horses, a stallion and a mare, at play. The two figures are separately cast and mounted on a wooden base. The stallion rears and puts his forelegs either side of the mare, which responds affectionately.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
