Summary
A pair of walnut and tapestry upholstered open armchairs, English, circa 1900. The chairs 17th century style, each with leaf carved scrolled arms, twist turned baluster legs and stretchers. Upholstered with tapestry fragments, probably French, late 17th century.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
