Summary
A mahogany side table, English, circa 1900 Late 18th century Adam style. The raised superstructure with a pair of dished candlestick recesses, with candlesticks and with two pairs of drawers flanking a lidded compartment faced with false books. The lower section with a frieze drawer centred by an urn carved tablet and raised on square section fluted legs, block feet.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
