Summary
A set of four walnut and tapestry upholstered open armchairs, English, late 19th / early 20th century 17th century style chairs with scroll carved moulded arms and padded back and seat, raised on twist turned baluster supports tied by stretchers. Upholstered with 18th century French tapestry fragments.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
