Summary
Watercolour on paper, Angle of the Grand Corridor, Windsor Castle by Joseph Nash the elder (1808-1878). Signed l.r. Mounted on card. A lady and a small girl are approaching down the Grand Corridor; perhaps intended to represent Queen Victoria with Princess Alice Maud Mary, later Grand Duchess of Hesse-Darmstadt and Duchess of Saxony (1843–1878).
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
