Pencil and watercolour on paper, The Keep, Windsor Castle, from the Courtyard of the Lower Ward, c.1838, by Joshua Edward Adolphus Dolby (fl.1838-1845). Signed l.r. Inscribed on drawing 'From the Lower Foundation, The Keep, Winchester Tower, etc'. The Round Tower, Lieutenant's Tower and part of St George's Chapel. Mounted on card.

Provenance

Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
