Summary
Painted enamel plaque, The Judgement of Paris, Berlin porcelain plaque by E. Bohm, possibly Emil Karl August Böhm (München 1873 - 1958), after Adriaen van der Werff (Kralinger Ambach 1659 - Rotterdam 1722). The original painting, now destroyed, was in the Gemäldegalerie in Dresden. Naked man seated left foreground, naked lady standing centre with apple in right hand, other figures right background, flying cherubs above. Black painted frame.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
