Summary
Worcester campana-shaped ice-pail, liner and cover. Decorated with views of Windsor and Carisbrook Castles on a claret ground, borders gilded, ram's head handles and acorn finial to cover. c.1815-20, crowned FBB mark. Inscribed on base 'Flight, Barr and Barr, London House, 1 Coventry Street', 'Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight', 'Windsor Castle'.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
