Summary
An oak trestle table, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944), English, circa 1910. With twin-plank top and baluster column end supports joined by a central stretcher and with sleigh feet.
Provenance
The table seems to have been introduced into the castle in the latter part of Lutyens' renovation, around 1912/13. It is possible that the interior designer and furniture maker Frederick Muntzer was responsible for the table.
