Provenance
This table appears in a photograph in Lindisfarne Castle Commonplace book IV, which probably dated c.1918. It is shown on the Lower Battery up against the north parapet wall. Edward Hudson and Madame Suggia are in the photograph; Suggia holding a tennis racket while Hudson is clipping flowers with a pair of secateurs. The photo is one of several given to the National Trust by Linda Lilburn in the 1970s. Digital scans of all these photos are held at the Castle.
