Needlework picture, 'Christ and a Woman of Samaria'. Silk, watercolour oval needlework picture of Christ seated to the right of a well beneath a tree, his right hand raised to the standing female figure on the left, who leans on the terracotta water vessel to the well. In a landscape setting. Glazed in moulded giltwood frame, oval buff card mount. Inscribed - Christ and Woman of Samaria (in black on giltwood label attached to frame). 1810 (circa).
