Summary
Carved commemorative plaque to the escape of Charles II from the battle of Worcester, showing an equestrian figure and pike soldiers within a cartouche and inscribed. Carved with Pendrel coat of arms and heraldic devices. Inscribed - I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and bring him to honour.

Sir Arthur Paul Benthall (1902 – 1992) by whom bequeathed to the National Trust (will dated 28th July 1983).
