Summary
One part of a two bell system at the top of the Turret Clock (north front). 13.875” diameter, peg argent, 19th C in date by an unknown founder, notes 2294, 1808, 1415, 1123 & 650Hz, D. Almost the same notes as bell 1. This bell is chimed by the clock by an external clapper. It is hung from a wrought iron bar headstock, originally for swinging but now bolted to the frame.
