Summary
Print, copperlate engraving, King Charles I (1600-1649) by Charles Turner Warren (London 1762 - London 1823). An early nineteenth century copperplate engraved portrait of Charles I; mounted within frame. Depicts a half-length male figure in seventeenth century dress facing forwards with right shoulder turned slightly to the left. The portrait is set within a false marble oval mounted on a classical urn, with drapery to the sides and a weeping putti to the base.
