A stuffed White Park cattle bull head, mounted on a wooden shield, as a trophy, circa 1850s. One of the last of Lyme's wild White Park cattle, which became extinct in the 1880s. Maker probably Rowland Ward of London.
Provenance
Original to the house. A white park bull from Lyme park killed before 1856 presented to J. Hamilton Leigh by Egerton T. Leigh in 1926.
