Summary
A circular wrought iron lock/timer with a hinged lid and escutcheon. Inscribed with 'WATCHMAN'S REGISTER'.
Provenance
Original to the house. A Watchman's Register is still in situ on the wall beneath the window at the top of the Study Stairs Landing [S10]. It has been painted over with caramel coloured paint (same colour as grained window). (stated on old inventory card)
