Summary
A boss with the Legh badge of honour cast in metal and mounted on a wooden plaque. Design in relief of two spiral-shaped shells flanking a central section with an severed arm (the symbol of the Legh family). The arm has a clenched fist holding onto a swallow tail flag with St. George's flag. Eight stars surround the hand and two scrolling 'C' shapes flank the badge to the top and bottom.
