Summary
Painted panelling with Trompe l’oeil decorative scheme. Almost certainly painted by Elizabeth Creed for her cousin, Edward Dryden. It comprises fluted columns (painted to resemble marble), cut-out Corinthian capitals, a sloping frieze and decorative swags over the doors, all painted in a very fine Baroque style.

Part of the fixtures and fittings of the House transferred from the Dryden's to the National trust in 1981
