Summary
An ash rush-seated chair, late 19th century, one of a matched set of six ash and beech rush-seated chairs, Lancashire/Cheshire, mainly mid-19th century. The back with four graduated splats each with a cusp and between plain rear uprights. The rush seat raised on baluster-topped columnar front legs joined by an opposing baluster-turned front stretcher and six plain side and rear stretchers.
