Summary
The south front first floor staircase has a 3 light window into stone work. They are all three fixed lights, glazed in sheet glass quarries in ½” flat lead, probably 19th C. There are twin internal stanchions per light in riven oak. The panels are tied to the stanchions with copper ties- intact. The two outer lights have 19th Century heraldry panels which hang on ferrous chains in front of the leaded lights. These are 494875.1 and 494875.2
