Summary
In the Winter Parlour is a 6 light bay window with single transom, separated into 12 lights. Diamond quarry lights are set into stonework reveals. The quarries are unusually large, the glass is a mixture of sheet glass and crown glass in 5/8” flat section lead. There is a single stanchion per light, ferrous. The glazed panels tied securely to the stanchion with copper ties. There is a ferrous side hung opening casement to the external lights of the lower tier, slightly rusted but functional. (19th C.) with wooden window ledge. There are lead condensation trays fixed to all fixed lights in good condition. UV film is applied to the glass- in reasonable condition. There is also a 3 light quarry window again with single internal ferrous stanchion. Panels firmly tied to this with copper ties. Glass type, quarry size as before. Lead profile 5/16” flat section. There is a ferrous side hung casement at the cill in the centre light. Slightly rusted 19th C. The glazing is set into lime mortar. With wooden shelf. UV film is applied to the glass- in reasonable condition.
