Summary
In the Great Hall are 3 leaded light windows, glazed in quarry lights in predominantly drawn sheet glass. The lead is ½” flat section. They are set into stone reveals, each light divided into two sections by a single transom. The individual diamond quarry size is unusually large. UV film is applied to the glass, but is somewhat uneven. There are single internal ferrous stanchions to each light. These are ancient and vary greatly in thickness from 1” to 11/4”. The two windows to the west elevation are very tall and as a consequence have been centrally divided with a ferrous T- bar detail. These two windows have wooden window seats.
