Full description
English made percussion pocket pistol, circa1845-50. Round iron turn-off barrel, with Birmingham proof marks. Barrel length 6.5cm Calibre 6.5mm. Walnut grip of slab-sided form, inset with a white metal escutcheon. Grip crudely marked with a diamond motif on both sides. Iron box-lock frame formed with integral breech, the frame containing percussion action. Traces of engraving on frame. Loop-shaped iron trigger guard. Overall length 17cm
