Summary
A mid nineteenth century mahogany hall chair with a scrolling shield back, containing a painted heraldic crest within the shield (attributed to Rev Becher), on turned baluster front legs.
Provenance
Given by Edward Beaumont in 1998 by variation of the will of his uncle, whose wife Mary Veronica (d.1997) was the last of the Bechers of Southwell.
