Summary
This stained glass 'Percy and Nevill' escutcheon is one of nine stained glass escutcheons in the east window of the chapel commemorating the descent of the Percy's and arranged in three rows of three. It is described as - 'quarterly, one and four, Percy (modern); two and three, Gules three lucies haurient argent (for Lucy). Quarterly two and three, Percy (ancient) Impaling, Gules a saltire argent (for Nevill). Surmounted by an Earl's coronet. Enclosed in a square cartouche.
