Summary

A butter churn with wooden paddles contained within a square glass jar and attached to a turning handle. The lid is iron and is surmounted by an iron grip through which is inserted the wooden turning handle and metal cog. There are five small airholes in the lid.

Provenance

Donated by John Blaney, (Letter of 2 July 2003) together with ice cream maker and butter pats.
