Summary
Oak armchair, the back bordered in gouged incised line and reeded patterns. Across top in relief 'BB/1702' (Benjamin Browne) on stipple ground with centre rosette, centre panel divided into four parts each carved with family emblems; top left double headed eagle of Brownes; top right three wheatsheaves of Birketts; bottom right three lions paws of Forrests. Arms bordered with incised carving each side and irregularly carved beneath, supports channelled incised border on inside, plain seat channel bordered. Front legs turned, back legs channelled united near base by channelled stretchers. Red cushion.
