Summary
One of two mochaware pint mugs, cyclindrical bodies decorated with a brown band with trees made by runny glaze. Victorian Weights and Measures Verification Mark for Derby County on side; possibly manufactured by T.G. Green of Church Gresley in the late 19th century. Mochaware used tobacco in pigment of ceramics.
