Summary
Silver spectacle case, velvet lined and engraved, with 2 chains at open end attached to pierced silver belt hook. Engraved with dedication 'Annie from Tom' 1907. Hallmarked lion, anchor, CEA. JPPL on reverse.
Provenance
An item from the Llanerchaeron collection, left to the National Trust in the will of John Powell Ponsonby Lewes in 1989. Owned by Annie Lewes, Ponsonby Lewes' mother - a gift from Captain T.P. Lewes, her husband, in 1907.
