Summary
Cast iron box iron - hollow base with sliding door at rear attached to vertical iron lift-and-lower knob. Cylindrical wooden handle on iron frame (twisted). Very rusty. Inside, solid metal weight, painted red, removable for heating on stove.

A gift donated to the National Trust in 2005 for display in its Llanerchaeron property.
