Summary
Box iron, for use in the dry laundry, probably with a separate slug. Cast iron, box base, protruding 'spout' at front end, wooden handle, small circular opening at rear with swivel cap, swivel opening top with catch (strap iron, wooden knob), hollow interior with grid to support hot slug. Cast figures on lid - '10' and 'SI'.

An item purchased in 2004 for display in the Llanerchaeron property of the National Trust.
