Summary
Infantry officer's sword, Pattern 1897, with straight steel blade etched with decoration, George V and crown. Star of David brass insert (proved). Steel knuckle guard with leather-covered, wire-bound grip. Wooden scabbard covered in brown leather (850 mm long). Maker - Clement Gray. 1900 - 1930
Provenance
Indigenous collection purchased by Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to Dyrham Park in 1961.
