Summary

Sword; Katana - Japanese military sword, Katana, with plain slightly curved blade. Decorative blade guard (tsuba). Sharkskin grip bound with leather. Hilt with brass cap and tassel loop. Iron scabbard with brass mounts and one suspension ring. Brown paint covering mounts. 1900 - 2000

Provenance

Indigenous collection purchased by Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to Dyrham Park in 1961
