Summary
Sword with straight blade, etched and engraved - Star of David with brass insert. (Stamped proved). Maker; Hawkes Mosley and Co, London, manufacturers to the Queen. Brass knuckle guard with VR and crown emblem - leather lining. Sharkskin wire-bound grip. White leather strap with white leather tassel. Leather scabbard with brass mounts and two suspension hooks. Some pitting. 1800 - 1900
Provenance
Indigenous collection purchased by Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to National Trust in 1961.
