Summary
One of a pair of stained glass panels, with a coat of arms flanked by soldiers in armour with architectural arch behind with cherubs and date 1528. This panel has all the hallmarks of being a 19th or 20th century copy. The dates are very early and prominent but no inscriptions appear, while the technique is very 'polished'. In addition the glass is without tint and has a smoothness and flatness not possible in 16th century work. Alfred Fisher 24.7.2003. 1800 - 2000.
